To busy at work and at home to get back to building the second story and roof of the cabin. The guys I depend on for help are swamped at work too. Once again we will be building during the winter.

My brother, Ed, will be coming up again this winter to help get the rest of the structure up. Once the roof is up, the doors go in. Then the propane direct vent heater gets installed. Next comes the Blaze King wood stove. Once the heat is in place the windows, insulation, wiring and then the cabinets go into place.

We will be able to camp in the structure once the doors and heat are in place. It's been a long haul, but finally, the winters will be a bit more pleasant with our own little cabin in the bush ready for us to warm it up and stay weekends and holidays.

The oldest grandson, Isaiah, age 6, is ready to build his own place. Once the family cabin is ready he wants to start construction on a small cabin of his own up on the hill above the cabin now being built. There is almost 18 acres available for the 6 grands to build on. Maybe some of the other 4 boys and 1 girl will want to build too.
